Sleep: Sleep goes in and out. Some nights are better than others. I have to get up at least once every night. Some days I need a lunch time nap and a few days I’ve fallen asleep by 6 or 7 PM.
Maternity clothes: None of my coats fit anymore, so I am using a maternity fleece from Old Navy for the next month as my coat…. and layers underneath (it’s SO COLD!).
Gender: BOY!
Weight Gain: 33 lbs as of my 34 week appointment. Gaining about 1 lb a week at this point.
Movement: Very active little boy who is running out of room. He kicks hard at night as we’re trying to fall asleep and usually around any meal time. Spicy food and sweets really get him dancing. Cold water, too!
Best moment this week: Date night at Crook’s Corner. We stuffed ourselves with spicy mac n cheese and shrimp n’ grits. It was delicious and much needed!
Food cravings: Spicy foods, peppermint, chocolate (all the items on the list my doctor said to avoid if I didn’t want heartburn/acid reflux).
Food Aversions: fish (other than salmon) and curry
Anything making you queasy or sick: smells are still so strong for me. Last night I could tell when someone who had been smoking walked in the restaurant and they weren’t even close to us. It was awful.
Missing anything: working out (at a high intensity!). Trying to stay active these last few weeks (as much as possible! my walking is now closer to 2 miles a day).
Symptoms: sore feet – which means I’m getting a pedicure today!

We’re celebrating Christmas with my in-laws this weekend – and also planning to pack our hospital bags and install our car seat. Big, exciting things happening over here!
