I finally found a use for my wine glasses! I’m not much of a wine drinker so admittedly they don’t get much action but this activity was perfect for them!

I stumbled across this on Facebook and thought it would be the perfect activity to entertain L on a rainy day. He is very curious and had lots of questions about why everything was measured how it was and why the bubbles moved like they did. It probably gave us 30ish minutes of entertainment after a 5 minute setup.

1/2 cup vegetable oil + 1/4 cup of water
Drops of food coloring
Add 1 Alkaseltzer tab

We let this bubble up for a while and watched it intently and then added an extra Alka-seltzer tab to get some more time out of our activity.

Highly recommend if you need a simple but interesting activity for your little one. Especially on a rainy day!
