One year ago today, I took my last flight home from working in Boston — not knowing it would be my last for an extended period of time. I’ve spent 10 years traveling to our Boston office and not once been away for this long. I miss my trips, seeing my coworkers in real life, the food, seeing things outside of the 4 walls of my house. Where did you go on your last flight before COVID shut it down?
Look at this stack of sweeties on a Friday night 😍
This boy right here is made of pure sugar and honey. Soaking up all the sweet hugs I’m getting right now and the countless hours he wants to spend being right beside of me. Babies don’t keep!
Mo is trying to figure out just how exactly he has gotten so big in a months time.
Had the very best weekend with this boy — so much so that he said at bedtime tonight “you know, people really love Saturday and Sunday. I don’t know if you could ever have Saturday Saturday Saturday Sunday Sunday Sunday but I bet it would be cool if you could.” Clearly he’s talking about a week with no work or school and now I have vacation on the brain (safe and distanced of course). Kids are so pure, it melts my heart.
Finally got out for a run and am determined to build my mileage back up. I did an old @onepeloton outdoor run from 2018 but @andyspeer’s words were perfect “you are doing your mind, body and spirit good by getting in these steps” — running is much more for my mental health than physical (though I’ve never been mad about my runners quads 🦵). Grateful to be able to run even if getting back into it kind of sucks right now.
