Last year, I didn’t hit my goal of 60 books in the year — but I read 52 — which still feels pretty good. This year, I set my goal at 52 and crushed it in February with 7 books and 6 books in March. I’m currently 4 books ahead of schedule when it comes to hitting my goal…

I LOVE Colleen Hoover and flew thru those two books in February. I also really loved The Trials of Adeline Turner. Every Vow You Break was definitely entertaining but a little far-fetched for me.
I’m still on my Book of the Month flow and usually choose 2 books (last month I got The Paris Apartment and Tell Me Everything). I have a few biographies and work books (Equity) I need to also mix in but sometimes I get on a kick with either romcoms or thrillers and just want to stick to that genre for 3 or 4 in a row.
In March, I really loved One Italian Summer and Finlay Donovan Knocks ‘Em Dead (the follow up to Finlay Donovan is Killing It). And so far in April, my fave book was Like a Sister. Watch Me Disappear was good, too, but I struggled with it as a mom.

There are a lot of great books being released this year that I’m looking forward to reading. The next two in my TBR pile are Love of my Life (Rosie Walsh) and Run Rose, Run (Dolly Parton & James Patterson). I’ll try to be better about updating my list this year but you can always follow me on Good Reads and see what I’m currently reading or what I’ve finished.
Do you have any faves that you’ve read this year? Drop them in the comments so I can add them to my ever-growing pile!
